1. Account eligibility and age
You must be at least 13 years old to create your own Studoes account.
Learners below the age of legal majority should use Studoes only with the permission and supervision required by their local law.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it reasonably current.
2. Account security
Keep your password private and use only accounts you are authorised to access.
Notify Studoes promptly if you believe your account or email address has been compromised.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the activity resulted from a Studoes security failure.
3. Learner identity and usernames
Usernames and profile details must not impersonate another person, institution, or organisation.
Studoes may change or reserve usernames that are deceptive, abusive, infringing, or operationally required.
4. Acceptable use
Use Studoes for lawful learning, collaboration, and educational communication.
Do not bully, harass, threaten, exploit, or target another learner.
Do not publish hate content, unsafe instructions, scams, spam, malware, or attempts to bypass access controls.
Do not use Studoes to organise academic cheating, submit another person’s work as your own, or distribute examination material unlawfully.
5. Learner-generated content
You retain ownership of original content you create, subject to rights you grant Studoes to operate the service.
Content includes posts, notes, messages, comments, subject material, files, profile media, and related contributions.
You must have the rights needed to upload or share content and must respect copyright, privacy, and confidentiality obligations.
6. Service licence for learner content
You grant Studoes a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, display, and transmit your content only as needed to provide, secure, moderate, and improve the service.
This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where retention is required for backups, legal obligations, safety, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
7. Moderation and enforcement
Studoes may review reported or automated safety signals, restrict distribution, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary.
Enforcement decisions may consider severity, repetition, context, learner safety, legal duties, and risk to the service.
Where available, an affected learner may use the stated appeal or support process.
8. Third-party services
Studoes may use service providers for hosting, storage, security, and transactional email delivery.
Third-party links or services may have their own terms and privacy practices, which Studoes does not control.
9. Service availability and changes
Features may change as Studoes improves reliability, safety, accessibility, and learning functionality.
The service may be unavailable during maintenance, incidents, provider outages, or events outside reasonable control.
Studoes does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain unchanged.
10. Suspension, termination, and account closure
You may request account closure through the available account or support process.
Studoes may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, legal requirements, security threats, or harmful conduct.
Certain records may be retained after closure where required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, disputes, or legitimate operational needs.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Studoes provides learning and social-learning tools, not professional academic, legal, medical, or financial advice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Studoes is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Disputes and governing law
The governing law, courts, and any required dispute-resolution process will be specified in the legally reviewed public version for the learner’s applicable jurisdiction.
Contact Studoes first so concerns can be reviewed through the support process where appropriate.
13. Changes to these Terms
Material changes will be communicated through the service, email, or another reasonable channel.
A new version may require renewed acceptance before continued use of affected features.
