FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Short answers for common Studoes workflows and safety rules. What is Study Room?
Study Room is your personal learning desk. It shows your subjects, recent study activity, drafts, saved posts, and what to continue next.
Is Feed the main landing page?
No. Studoes is dashboard-first and feed-second. You land on your own progress first, then use Feed for study discovery.
What should I do first?
Create or choose a subject, add topics if needed, then capture your first note as a draft or published post.
How are subjects and topics used?
Subjects organize your learning. Topics, chapters, and subtopics help your notes feel like a structured study book.
What is a draft?
A draft is private work in progress. Raw or incomplete drafts stay with you until they are ready to publish.
What post types can I create?
You can create notes, code posts, resources, and discussion posts.
What does Adopt as Draft mean?
It lets you bring another learner's useful public post into your own workspace while keeping source credit visible.
Can I claim someone else's post as mine?
No. Studoes preserves original author, adapted-from details, and source trail so contribution remains respected.
What is Source Trail?
Source Trail shows the current post's linear origin path so learners can understand how knowledge was built over time.
What appears in Activity and Timeline?
Meaningful study actions like published posts, comments, saved posts, adoptions, drafts for the owner, and learning phase memory.
Can other learners see my private timeline?
No. Timeline visibility follows your settings. Private drafts and saved items are owner-only.
What is Recognition?
Recognition highlights useful contribution such as original notes, helpful posts, discussions, saves, and adoptions.
What visibility options are available?
You can control profile visibility, timeline visibility, and the default audience for new posts. Direct messaging is limited to accepted study connections.
What happens when I report a post?
The post is hidden for you, then admin reviews the report. A report does not automatically mean the author violated rules.
Can admin remove content?
If admin confirms a violation, content may be reviewed, hidden, removed from public view, or marked for action depending on severity.
